Our Story
The construction of Ormos marina was completed in 2015, but only in 2022 it started to operate as fully functioning marina when Aris-Samos Group of companies acquired it.
Ormos Marina is a part from the Aris-Samos group of companies (ASG) since 2022 further expanding the group’s business activities and enabling us to provide comprehensive all year long services to our customers.
ASG was founded by Aristidis Spanogiannis who brought 38 years ago a lot of know-how from Germany and gave it to his employees. The whole family Spanogiannis is now in the second generation of these values and develops these continuously.
The group started its operation in constructions, cranes and heavy machinery. Further we expanded in the tourism sector with our private apartments Elena Bungalows. In 1998 we also build and operate the first and to this day only Go-kart track on Samos island. The group first expanded into the marine sector in 2005 when it acquired Karlovasi Boatyard. The newest addition to the group are 2 marinas in western Samos, Ormos Marathokampou Marina and Karlovasi Marina.
